THE DAY OF 8'S POSTPONED TO SUNDAY AT 2PM

Well, damn. This is not the post we wanted to be making on the morning of what was to be such an exciting event. After a week of promising weather forecasts, predictions quickly began deteriorating after 4pm yesterday and radars now show a substantial amount of green barrelling towards the Northern part of the province, forcing this decision.

With all forecasts calling for precipitation all afternoon, there is simply no way we can get our full show in. We strive to provide the best experience possible for all our drivers and fans, and there is no way we can provide that experience based on the forecasts today.

The forecasts for Sunday appear much more promising, but we will of course monitor today.

All pre-paid tickets will be valid for Sunday’s rain date as per our ticket policies. For those who did not pre-purchase tickets, we have 1200 grandstand tickets remaining which will be sold at the ticket booth. Grandstand gates will be open at 11am, so we encourage everyone to arrive early! An updated format will be posted later this morning.

Let’s hope mother nature gets all the rain out of her system today to set up for what will hopefully be a beautiful day for some motorsports excitement on Sunday!
