T&L Abatement to Present Firecracker Night!

Speedway Miramichi is thrilled to be announcing a new partnership today with T&L Abatement and Remediation that will raise the stakes for one of the marquee events on the Speedway Miramichi calendar. T&L Abatement and Remediation has come on board as the presenting sponsor for the Firecracker Night on July 23rd. Thanks to this partnership, increased purses will be up for grabs for drivers in several divisions in what is sure to be a can’t miss event this summer at the North Shore oval!

T&L Abatement and Remediation is a New Brunswick based company owned and operated by Tom and Lyanne Campbell. T&L Abatement and Remediation provides expertise and cost-effective, timely services in demolition and the removal, disposal, and decontamination of asbestos, lead paint, mold, and other hazardous materials.

T&L Abatement Firecracker Night will be headlined by the historic Firecracker 50 – which made a comeback in 2021 and has quickly evolved into the biggest Bomber race of the year! The second running of the race will be known as the T&L Abatement Firecracker 50 in 2022! With this announcement, the total purse for the Bomber division will exceed $2500, with $500 being awarded to the winner and a minimum of $50 for all starters. With lap money being on the line at $10 per lap, the total winner-take-all prize could be as high as $1000! Mark Kingston (#97) won the inaugural Bomber Firecracker 50 in 2021 en route to the season long championship.

Bomber drivers won’t be the only competitors competing for bigger prizes – bonus money will be up for grabs for Demolition drivers at the Firecracker Demolition! This bonus money will be added on top of the standard base purse, making the Firecracker Demolition one of the richest Demolition purses of the year.

T&L Abatement Firecracker Night will be a jammed packed event, complete with a Fireworks display for fans to enjoy! The 2nd Annual T&L Abatement Firecracker 50 will be preceded by stock car racing from the Street Stock and Mini Stock divisions, while the Firecracker Demo will be a mid-summer thriller! This event is slated for Saturday July 23rd with a 6pm post time.
